Forró from Quixaba

Forró da Quixaba is one of the most traditional June festivals in Picuí, celebrated annually in the rural community of Quixaba. It is known as the largest rural forró in Paraíba. Marking the start of the São João festivities in the municipality, the event brings together residents, visitors, and lovers of Northeastern Brazilian culture for an evening filled with forró pé de serra, traditional foods, and lively entertainment.

With a warm and authentic atmosphere, Forró da Quixaba celebrates Picuí’s rural roots, promoting local culture, community-based tourism, and the preservation of June traditions.
