The Picuí Specialty Center, officially known as the Nossa Senhora de Fátima Municipal Specialty Center, is a public health facility in the municipality of Picuí, Paraíba, dedicated to providing specialized outpatient care. The center centralizes various essential services of the Unified Health System (SUS), offering the population easy access to medical appointments and procedures of moderate complexity.

Location and Hours: Located at Rua São Sebastião, s/n, in the Centro neighborhood of Picuí, Paraíba, the center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Specialties and Services: The facility provides services in psychology, psychiatry, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, gynecology, and general practice. Additionally, the CNES offers specialties such as ophthalmology, endoscopy, rehabilitation, and psychosocial care, establishing the center as a leading provider of specialized care for the municipality and the surrounding region.

Facilities and Investments: Over the past few years, the Specialty Center has undergone significant renovations and improvements. In 2023, the City Government renovated the building’s physical structure—which also houses the Family Health Support Center (NASF)—using its own funds, with the aim of optimizing workspaces and improving the reception of SUS users. Previously, in 2017, renovation work was carried out on the facilities, including the area used by SAMU.
